Summarizing the Results of the Business Trip to Turkey
From January 4 to January 11, 2026, the Deputy Director of the University Library, Altynay Nysanbayeva, who visited the Republic of Turkey on a business trip as part of the university’s faculty members and staff, shared her impressive and memorable experiences with the library staff today. She spoke in detail about the Presidential National Library, a mega-project inaugurated by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as well as visits to the libraries of Gazi University, Hacettepe University, and Hacı Bektaş Veli University, including meetings with colleagues. The knowledge and professional experience gained during the visit were presented in a comparative manner. It was noted that these libraries stand out for their more than 100-year history, large number of readers, rich electronic resources covering all fields of knowledge, and well-developed automated systems.
The members of the delegation were officially received by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of our university, Mr. Muhittin Şimşek, at the office of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kazakh-Turkish University in Ankara, where he expressed his gratitude to all staff members for their contribution to the development of the university and their dedicated work.
Upon returning from the trip, the delegation members were received by the Rector of the University, Janar Amangeldikyzy, to whom they conveyed greetings from university rectors, shared their impressions, and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity provided. Janar Amangeldikyzy wished all staff continued success in their future work, followed by a commemorative photograph.
