PhD in Philology, Professor Sh. Ibrayev donated his personal library (about 3,000 books and journals) to the university library, and the opening ceremony of the reading hall took place on October 2, 2025. The collection includes the scholar’s own works, as well as books by other authors and researchers with personal inscriptions, which he collected or received as gifts throughout his life. The library contains publications on Turkology, ethnography, folklore, linguistics, literary studies, art, history, philosophy, as well as various dictionaries, encyclopedias, and works of fiction in Kazakh, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Bashkir, Uyghur, Tatar, Arabic, Tuvan and other languages, all of which beautifully enrich the reading hall. The collection also features rare publications from 1937, 1938, and 1940, such as Kazakh Soviet Literature, Literary Chrestomathy, and other historical editions. We strongly believe that this valuable collection donated to the university library will become an indispensable source of knowledge for professors, researchers, and students.
